Hey! I'm not the biggest fan of horror games, but the idea behind something ordinary being scary looks nice. I played the game, and I can say it's quite scary for me (and that's why I don't like any horror game, my heart is really fragile), so it does the job really well and makes anything small look just as important as the whole game.
Also...what does the headphone captcha say? I don't get it, maybe I'm going deaf.
Thank you for taking a chance on my game and playing it! And many thanks for the comment.
SPOILERS:
The headphone CAPTCHA says a few things: "What are you doing here?", "You don't belong here!" and "This is mine!". Basically, just encouraging the player to go back to the main game. :)
Very impressive freshman effort. Making CAPTCHAs into gameplay that defines the narrative was extremely clever. Towards the end the CAPTCHAs kind of became actual puzzles, which was a great use of the medium.
I'm so impressed with this game! It was short with minimal sound yet it did an amazing job at creating a spooky atmosphere and giving me the creeps! Well done!
This is amazing, I really didn't expect anyone to lets play my game, I'm very flattered! Thank you for leaving such a kind comment too, this made my day!
i really like the creative use of captcha mechanics. I hadn't seen it before
SPOILER: I really like how it was used to draw attention, such as towards the smile I also liked the quick flashes to create movement, such as the creature crawling out of the cabin. It broke up the normal pattern of still images and made a good scare The swap to old-timey photos was also really unnerving
All in all, good job I hope to see more of your stuff
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that you took the time to highlight specifics things that you liked, it's a big help while I'm honing my game design skills--hopefully my next game will be even better!

made clicking captchas super fun
Thank you! I'm actually terrible at real life captchas, they've made me question my humanity so many times, so I appreciate your comment a lot!
I'm going to be honest, I have no idea what just happened
But it was enjoyable (thanks for putting the answers if you suck)
