I really liked this

(+1)

Thank you so much!

(+1)

I like this concept a lot, especially when losing control of my actions. I added some music in myself because I think it adds to the feeling that this game has. Overall an enjoyable experience!

(+1)

Thank you! I agree, some sound could definitely level it up--I'm working on my next game and it already includes more comprehensive sfx content. I hope you'll check it out and thanks again for playing and leaving such a nice comment!

(+1)

i really enjoyed this!!!!
i'm not good with horror games so this almost made me scream in the middle of class!

also the latin for the sanguis part was really good!

(+1)

I'm so glad you had fun! Thank you for playing! And I'm glad you didn't get in trouble in class. XD

(1 edit) (+3)

ignore the haters this game is freaky 10 out of 10

also this is the perfect game to play in the middle of the night

(+1)

That's very kind of you! It's okay, not everything will be to everyone's taste, but I'm really glad that you are in the camp of people who enjoyed it! Thanks for leaving a comment too. ^_^

concepts ok, kinda mid tho.

(+2)

Thanks for giving it a try anyways, I appreciate it!

(+2)

Me just casually joining a cult (it was to prove im human)

Totally understandable. And thank you for you playing! :)

(+1)(-5)

the concept is interesting, but the execution is very poor.

pacing sucks, and the game isn't scary

(+3)

I'm sorry you didn't have fun! Thanks for giving it a try anyways and I hope my future games are a more enjoyable experience for you.

(+3)

This was fun. Some captchas where inconsistent but it corrected me so 10/10.

(+2)

Yeah that's completely fair, it was tricky to pick what was the "right" answer--so I'm glad the hint system helped! Thank you for playing! :)

(+3)(-1)

You got my girlfriend good with this one! Not her first time dealing with a cult, though.

(+2)

Thank you so much!

(+4)

MOOOOOM THERES A CULT IN MY CAPTA

(i had to log in because new computer and having to do a capta right after finishing this game was fun lmao)

(+1)

Haha be careful what you click!!  I'm glad you had fun! :)

(+2)

An awesome game.

(+1)

You're too kind! Thank you for playing! :)

(+2)

This game was so CREEPY. The images were disturbing. This was a new concept and it was done well! Demonic/Cult games spook me! 10/10
(+2)

Thank you so much, I'm glad you had fun!

(1 edit) (+3)

Jump scares really scare me, but I don't understand Latin so maybe a bit of a shame…;(

Anyway, best creepy game I've played this year!

(+1)

That is such a nice thing to say, thank you very much! (And for what it's worth, my Latin is not great either ha).

(1 edit) (+2)

omg i finally finished the game it spooked me so much lol

it was really good and I loved the puzzles!

(+2)

That's amazing, thanks for coming back to finish it!

(+5)

Oh my god???? /pos  The puzzles towards the end are SO cool and creative, I had a lot of fun with this.

(+2)

Thank you so much, that's really kind!

(+4)

turns out captchas are actually really enriching when theyre not in the way of something i want

fun game

(+2)

Thank you! I'm glad you had fun!

(+2)

Me halfway through this game: yknow, maybe i shouldn't be playing this in a dark room and be playing this at all because I getscared kinda easily...

(+2)

Haha no that's perfect, that's exactly what the dev ordered! Thank you for playing and commenting!

(+1)

Np! It's a fun game :)

(+3)

Hey!
I'm not the biggest fan of horror games, but the idea behind something ordinary being scary looks nice.
I played the game, and I can say it's quite scary for me (and that's why I don't like any horror game, my heart is really fragile), so it does the job really well and makes anything small look just as important as the whole game.

Also...what does the headphone captcha say? I don't get it, maybe I'm going deaf.

(1 edit) (+3)

Thank you for taking a chance on my game and playing it! And many thanks for the comment.

SPOILERS:

The headphone CAPTCHA says a few things: "What are you doing here?", "You don't belong here!" and "This is mine!". Basically, just encouraging the player to go back to the main game. :)

(1 edit)

I was being ironic w/the headphone captcha because the audio isn't that obvious with a demon speaking, yk? xD, but thx

Ohhhh I see, no worries! ^_^

(1 edit) (+2)

Very good game for a 5 min horror game

(+1)

I'm glad you had fun, thank you very much!

no problem

(+3)

i dont speak latin so i dont think i can join them

(+1)

Haha amazing, you found the loophole! (And thanks for playing!)

(+2)

This is a genius game concept and I found it truly spine chilling. Great game!!

(+1)

That's such a nice comment! Thank you!

(+3)

Very impressive freshman effort. Making CAPTCHAs into gameplay that defines the narrative was extremely clever. Towards the end the CAPTCHAs kind of became actual puzzles, which was a great use of the medium.

(+1)

I'm so glad you liked it, I had a lot of fun trying to push the CAPTCHA format as the game progressed. Thank you so much!

(+2)

i got to the second bus and i already peed my pants

not ready for horror games yet 🤷

(+1)

Oh no! Well thank you for giving it a try anyways and leaving a comment, I appreciate it!

(+2)

it looked like a puzzle game and ONLY a puzzle game, and i love puzzle games.😅

(+2)

Awesome concept for a game! :)

(+2)

Thank you so much!

(+2)

I'm so impressed with this game! It was short with minimal sound yet it did an amazing job at creating a spooky atmosphere and giving me the creeps! Well done!

(+2)

This is amazing, I really didn't expect anyone to lets play my game, I'm very flattered! Thank you for leaving such a kind comment too, this made my day!

(+2)

i loved this game where it seems normal but had way more to it!

(+1)

Thank you, that's very kind! I had a lot of fun making it so I'm glad you had fun playing it!

(+3)

a short, unsettling, and creepy experience

i really like the creative use of captcha mechanics. I hadn't seen it before

SPOILER:
I really like how it was used to draw attention, such as towards the smile
I also liked the quick flashes to create movement, such as the creature crawling out of the cabin. It broke up the normal pattern of still images and made a good scare
The swap to old-timey photos was also really unnerving

All in all, good job
I hope to see more of your stuff

(+1)

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that you took the time to highlight specifics things that you liked, it's a big help while I'm honing my game design skills--hopefully my next game will be even better!

(+3)

A delightfully unsettling experience! Well done.

(+2)

^_^ Thank you so much for playing, and leaving your thoughts! I appreciate it!

(+3)

made clicking captchas super fun

(+2)

Thank you! I'm actually terrible at real life captchas, they've made me question my humanity so many times, so I appreciate your comment a lot!

(+5)

I'm going to be honest, I have no idea what just happened

But it was enjoyable (thanks for putting the answers if you suck)

(+2)

Haha I'm glad you had fun, I was aiming to entertain! Thanks for the comment!

(+2)

Fun concept!

(+2)

I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you!

(+1)(-1)

This was fun! reCAPTCHAs will never feel the same :(

(+2)

Thank you so much!
